Jeffrey W. Barton, 59 of Kittanning, died Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Lutheran SeniorLife Inpatient Hospice House in Butler.
He was born October 6, 1955 in Kittanning to Carl and Mary (Bowser) Barton, Sr.
Jeffrey was a self-employed contractor.
He attended Worthington Baptist Church and was a graduate of Worthington High School.
Jeff loved taxidermy work, hunting and taking care of his chickens.
He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh, but his true passion was spending time with his family - especially his grandchildren.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 22 years, Patricia (Cypher) Barton - whom he married August 23, 1993; daughter, Andrea Barton Coleman (and husband Mike) of Fenelton; son, Cameron Barton (and fiancee Rachel) of Tarentum; four grandchildren: Dustin, Derek and Madison Coleman, and Tyler Barton; father, Carl Barton, Sr. of Worthington; and four brothers: Carol Barton, Jr. (and wife, Susan) of Chicora, Barry Barton (and wife Karen) of Butler, Scott Barton (and wife, Pamela) of Worthington and Boyd Barton (and wife April) of Cowansville.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and brother, Shawn Barton.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM today - Tuesday, September, 22, 2015 - at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington.
Additional visitation will be offered from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at 11AM tomorrow - Wednesday, September 23, 2015 - at Worthington Baptist Church, 327 Ross St.
The Rev. Dr. Joseph T. Simpson will be officiating.
Interment will be in Slate Lick Cemetery.
