OBIT: Giuseppe DeMasi (Kittanning)
Giuseppe DeMasi, 89, of Kittanning, died Friday, September 18, 2015 at his residence where he has resided for the past nine years.
He was born Jan. 1, 1926 in Alberona, Italy to Donato and Leonarda Conte DeMasi. He was the husband of the late Lucia Serapione DeMasi and was a landscaper and farmer. He loved planting fruits and vegetables and gardening.
He is survived by his son: Antonio and Magdalena DeMasi of Phoenix, AZ; daughters: Leonarda DeMasi Esposito of Orlando, FL, Terea and John Koppenaal of Kittanning, Pasqualina DeMasi of New Jersey, and Maria DeMasi and Tommy Gualtieri of New Jersey; brother: Francesco DeMasi of Canada; grandchildren: Lucy, Carol, Angelica, Rocco, Gioia, Lilliana, John Jr., Giuseppe, Giuseppi Gaetano, and John; and great-grandchildren: Christian, Carmine, Marcus, Sage and Isabella.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Visitation will be held today, Monday, September 21, 2015 from 5-8 PM in the Mantini Funeral Home in Ford City, followed by a funeral service at 8PM with Pastor John Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Orange, NJ.
