Ford City Couple Charged in Shooting of Child
from the KP NewsDesk
Charges were filed yesterday in connection with the shooting of a six-year-old Ford City boy on August 5.
A nine-year-old son was playing with his father’s handgun, teasing the family dog with the laser. It was then that he picked up a 9mm Ruger pistol and accidentally shot his six-year-old half-brother.
Police searched the home that day and found additional handguns, rifles, and shotguns in the house, including five long guns and over 8,600 rounds of ammunition on the bedroom floor at the base of the nine-year-old’s bed.
A criminal complaint was filed against the father and step-mother, Christopher and Crista Ann McNeely. Both were handcuffed and taken to the Armstrong County Jail, and released on bail.
They are being charged with knowingly endangering the welfare of children by violating a duty of care, protection or support, namely, by knowingly leaving unsecured and unsupervised guns and ammunition within the home in violation of Section 4304(a) of the PA Crimes Code.
They are due in court on September 22 to answer the charges.
Attorney Chase McClister, who has been designated as the prosecutor by the District Attorney’s office, was unavailable for comment yesterday afternoon.

Police cars surround the 4th Avenue Ford City home on August 5. A couple has now been charged in the shooting incident of a six-year-old boy that morning.

@ Mad, “Article I, Section 8, Clause 4 of the Constitution empowers Congress to “establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization” – or, more simply stated, to make universal rules about giving foreign-born residents of the United States the “privileges of native” born residents.”
Mad: You might want to read some of this, just a thought.
By worthingtonman, October 1, 2015 @ 12:27 PM
@mad
Nothing personal but it is the Liberals that have perverted the constitution all of these years. I believe in the constitution as it was written. I do believe I pointed out Jensen was not a citizen, but now he is.. what is the big deal with this. A veteran is a Veteran. We all did the same jobs… I just don’t get the point of belittling the fact that a immigrant can serve.. I did not know that they could gain citizenship through serving though. What a honorable way to gain citizenship. Much better than handing them out to Illegals .
By jd718, October 1, 2015 @ 5:11 PM
@ Mad, I noticed you caught Rat lying, wow. That makes almost every poster from the right has been caught lying, all of them. There is little to no Integrity from these guys, that says it all to me!
By Rainbow Rider, October 1, 2015 @ 11:50 PM
Hey cartjak 😉 how many times did jenny say to others ” so, what branch of the military did you serve in ? ” when arguing about things that had nothing to do with anybody’s military service ??? answer ? Dozens.
He used his service as he does his education and his income and his supposed job to make himself seem superior to others in a futile attempt to win arguments. It never worked and he did it for years. If he hadn’t done this his military service would not be scrutinized as it is now. He continues to bring it up and others continue to pummel him.
My father called this getting your ‘ just desserts ‘.
jenny has no respect for his fellow man unless they treat him as though he is better than they are.
By Rainbow Rider, October 1, 2015 @ 11:55 PM
Besides, what difference does it make what people post about jenny, he ‘ won’t read ‘ ,and will ‘ skip over ‘ these comments anyway ! lol lol lol

To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;
Well, JD what Article 1 Section 8 states as above is that there is uniform rules. If you knew history you would have known that before the Constitution each stated made rules, which were not “uniform”. Everything else written is just your take, which as usual is wayyyyyyyy off.
By Rat_Smeller, October 2, 2015 @ 9:57 AM
JD718 - At what point did I lie?
Typical liberal tactic. When someone says something you don’t like label them a liar.
Simple minds use simple tactics.
By steve, October 5, 2015 @ 10:19 AM
Scott,
Why do you have a problem with Mad and JD questioning Jorn’s service, but not Jorn questioning Bluto’s, et al?
After all, as others have pointed out… it is Jorn’s questioning of others service that started this whole charade.
JD,
Bluto pointed out that Rat_Smeller was a reasonable person earlier. From what I’ve read I agree. Even if a mistake was made or something was overlooked (I don’t care to debate either way on it) calling someone a liar is a little strong in this case.
By steve, October 5, 2015 @ 10:43 AM
Since there isn’t an article on it here, I also wanted to give Pat Fabian kudos on setting up meetings to discuss economic development in the area as well as meeting with the Pittsburgh Regional Building Trades Council.
It looks like he’s taking the right steps to bring Armstrong County back to where it needs to be.
Would we rather have this or candidates who run their campaign on here and promise nothing more than a possibly fictitious rolodex of business contacts?
By jerry6, October 5, 2015 @ 11:17 AM
Rat Smeller, Typical conservative post. When someone says something you don’t like you start calling names like liar.
Simple minds like yours use use simple tactics.
By sickofpayingforit, October 5, 2015 @ 9:23 PM
Scott-
Friendly advice. Make your points and leave them at that. Arguing the points is just feeding those that argue for the sake of argument. Plenty of evidence on this thread alone to support that statement.
Those that read the comments for more than finding hairs to split and creating a massive spectacle can easily see the points being made.
Many of my posts are scrutinized, mocked, etc. I easily ignore that banter. Very easily actually. You make good points, no need to defend them when it is obvious some will never cede the point.

What does ‘Subject to the Jurisdiction Thereof’ Really Mean?
The United States Attorney General ruled the word “jurisdiction” under the Fourteenth Amendment to mean, which Justice Gray would recognize:
“The word “jurisdiction” must be understood to mean absolute and complete jurisdiction, such as the United States had over its citizens before the adoption of this amendment… Aliens, dwelling or being in this country, are subject to the jurisdiction of the United States only to a limited extent. (Political and military rights and duties do not pertain to them.) (14 Op. Atty-Gen. 300.)
“House Report No. 784, stated, “The United States have not recognized a double allegiance. By our law a citizen is bound to be ‘true and faithful’ alone to our government.”
(There is no way in the world anyone can claim “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” affirms the feudal common law doctrine of birth citizenship to aliens because such doctrine by operation creates a “double allegiance” between separate nations.) You see, Only Citizens can serve the United States in certain ways. So, when you say the Popinjay served this Country Prior to Naturalization,That would not be possible under The Constitution of the United States. End Of Story, Period!
By jd718, October 6, 2015 @ 11:42 AM
@ Ha,Ha,Ha, “To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization.” You are right, you just did not go far enough, how about that? LOL The 14th Amendment had a lot to do with defining citizenship and Allegiance. Allegiance the foundation for it all! No “double allegiance” no matter how hard you try! LOL
By jd718, October 6, 2015 @ 11:46 AM
@ Steve, Mad pointed out the lie. However a lie is a lie no matter how small. Rat will get over it, it’s part of the game. Always side with the Truth.
By jd718, October 6, 2015 @ 12:06 PM
@ Steve, One more thing I forgot. When Rat said the government is the face of America to explain that the Popinjay served this country, that was just ridiculous! Also, the part where he said the Poppinjay took the same Military Oath that everyone else took, of course he did, what does that prove? However an Alien in the military does not have the same rights as a citizen in the Military, an Alien can not be an Officer and can not have certain positions in the Armed Forces. His argument was more that weak and clearly in defense of the Popinjay and we all know his intent! Just wanted to be clear where I’m coming from on this.
By Rat_Smeller, October 6, 2015 @ 12:31 PM
Jerry - your record speaks for itself.
Taking sickofpayingforit’s advice.
I’m out.
By jd718, October 6, 2015 @ 12:48 PM
“Those who were not qualified under naturalization laws of the United States to become citizens of the United States would be unable to renounce their prior allegiances and consent to the full jurisdiction of the United States as needed to become a citizen.”
(What changed after the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment?) Not much really.
By jd718, October 6, 2015 @ 12:51 PM
@Rainbow Rider, You seem to be one of the only posters here to see the whole picture as it truly is, Thanks Much for your truthfulness, Thanks.
By jd718, October 6, 2015 @ 1:03 PM
@ Sickof, Why Cede when you can Educate using the Truth! Sour Grapes again I see!
By jd718, October 6, 2015 @ 1:14 PM
Sorry, I forgot: “Without this full and complete jurisdiction, any foreign government can intervene on behalf of their own citizens while they visit or reside within the United States.”
By blutoblutarsky, October 6, 2015 @ 4:27 PM
Cartman- I’m a veteran.
You state-
“This will hopefully be my final comment on this ridiculous topic. Jensen is a veteran, period. Anyone who does not respect veterans is an ignorant, unpatriotic, pants wetting twerp.”
Jensen stated-
“You need to learn to skip over the liberals’ posts – Marc, JD718, Bluto, Just sayin, and so forth. Just swat their nest once in a while and get them buzzing and they’ll post stupid stuff till the cows come home. They’re all experts on firearms, yet they haven’t served their country in any capacity requiring firearms.”
Since he decided to disrespect my service, does this make him an “ignorant, unpatriotic, pants wetting twerp”?
By jd718, October 6, 2015 @ 4:41 PM
Well, Ha,Ha,Ha, “Well, JD what Article 1 Section 8 states as above is that there is uniform rules. If you knew history you would have known that before the Constitution each stated made rules, which were not “uniform”. Everything else written is just your take, which as usual is wayyyyyyyy off.”
If you had paid attention I had simply asked Mad to read this section, So, what’s your point in explaining! There still is plenty of salt you can pound, really.
By Rainbow Rider, October 6, 2015 @ 10:38 PM
Sick of, you sound suspiciously like somebody else.
lol
By mad-2010, October 7, 2015 @ 6:58 AM
The Veterans on this blog (who side with JJ) along with a few other posters are Enablers of JJ’s behavior on this thread. As for (cartchild) he has nothing of value to add here, never really debates any points.
The Veterans should be upset that JJ acts the way he does because it really is a bad reflection for other more Proud and Humble Veterans everywhere.
By mad-2010, October 7, 2015 @ 7:37 AM
Wman.. “Nothing personal but it is the Liberals that have perverted the constitution all of these years.” I’m not really interested in making any of this political.
I have said before an Alien in the Military owes allegiance to his country of origin and the government (US) for the privilege of being allowed to be in this country. Prior to taking the Oath to become a citizen an Alien served the government not the Country, as Only citizens can do that, that’s my argument, matters not to me(at this point) that your Pal was in this position as an Alien. What I’m saying (To Me) and according to wording in The Constitution, to say other wise would not be true, and would create a “double allegiance” and “The United States does not recognized a double allegiance. By our law a citizen is bound to be ‘true and faithful’ alone to our government.”
By mad-2010, October 7, 2015 @ 8:29 AM
Cartchild reminds me of the Dunce that blurts out in class and is placed in the corner facing the wall and the next day does the same thing again! Once a Dunce, you know the rest. LOL
By cartman, October 7, 2015 @ 8:40 AM
Bluto,
Apparently, Jorn was unaware that you are a veteran. That said, even though we seem far apart politically, thank you for your service.
By mad-2010, October 7, 2015 @ 10:02 AM
Sickof, I fail to see your contribution to this discussion, only some lame a.. skit you had in your mind, get in the mix and stop being Weird!
By blutoblutarsky, October 7, 2015 @ 5:03 PM
Thank you Cartman. Actually Jorn was very aware. I mentioned my service to him on one of my very first posts on this site, when he was putting people down for not serving.
My point to him was that it isn’t something to hold over anyone else’s head, which he seems to have forgotten. Scott actually made the same point to him as well.
By blutoblutarsky, October 7, 2015 @ 5:07 PM
JD and Mad-
Ok, so jorn wasn’t technically a citizen until his service was over. He didn’t technically serve “his” country at that time, but he did serve our country which he became a part of afterwards. Did he do it to get something out of it? Maybe, but he still served. I can’t knock someone for that regardless.
Holding his decision to serve over others heads? That’s the part that isn’t right. I think we can all agree on that.
By sickofpayingforit, October 8, 2015 @ 11:12 AM
mad-
The old saying goes, better to be thought a fool, than to keep talking and remove all doubt.
From reading this thread, that saying isn’t as well travelled as I had thought.
