OBIT: Donna Joyce (Rupert) Barto (Ford City)
Donna Joyce (Rupert) Barto, 55 of Ford City, passed away at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born in Kittanning Hospital February 29, 1960 and loved being a leap year baby. She was the daughter of Ray (Mike) Rupert and Melda (Steffey) Rupert.
Donna was an extraordinary person who loved life and fought over many obstacles - including renal failure that went on for 10 years.
She loved crafting, traveling with Pat, arguing with her brother-in-law, Paul, the beach, casinos, Rupert ladies lunch and her many, many friends.
She will be truly missed. Our lives will never be the same without her in it.
Donna is survived by her four sisters: Pat (and Paul) Faber of Elderton, Renee Rupert Goldinger of Ford City, Dianne Rupert of Kittanning and Glenna Opalka of Ford City; brother Michael (and Brenda) Rupert of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Fely (Earl) Rupert; and brother-in-law, Doug (and Tracy) Barto.
Donna dearly loved her niece, Karla Rupert and nephews Matt Barto and Michael Rupert, Jr. as well as all her other nieces and nephews far and near.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin L. Barto; and three brothers: Earl Rupert, Roy (June) Rupert and Ronald Rupert, Sr.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM tomorrow - Friday, August 28, 2015 - at the Mantini Funeral Home in Ford City.
Additional visitation will be offered from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at 11AM Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Appleby Manor Presbyterian Church in Ford City.
Lloyd Riggle will be officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery in Ford City.
