OBIT: Brady Raymond Cousins (Kittanning)
Brady Raymond Cousins, 86, of Kittanning, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at his home.
Born July 27, 1929 in North Buffalo Township, he was the son of David L and Ella (Schrecengost) Cousins.
He retired as a federal mine inspector where he served in District 2.
Brady was a member of the North Buffalo Grace Brethren Church, where he formerly served as a Sunday School Teacher and Trustee.
He was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the U.S. Army.
Brady was a member of Masonic Lodge #244 where he was Worshipful Master in 1988 and also the Coudersport Consistory.
His hobbies included watching nature from his home, camping, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his son, Raymond (Becky) Cousins of Kittanning; his daughter, Esther Doreen Cousins of Kittanning; brother, David (Paulime) Cousins of Kittanning; and two grandsons: Adam and Graham Cousins.
Brady was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Esther Doreen (Schrecengost) Cousins, who died January 21, 1988; four brothers: Robert, Franklin, Ernest and James Cousins; daughter, Judith Ann Cousins; and one sister, Ella Mae Smith.
Friends will be welcomed from 7-9PM tomorrow - Thursday, July 30, 2015 - at the Welch Funeral Home in Ford City.
Additional visitation will be offered from 2-4 and 7-9PM Friday, July 31, 2015 at the funeral home, and from 9-10AM Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the North Buffalo Grace Brethren Church.
Funeral services will follow at 10AM, with Rev. David
Blevins officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.
