Criminal Mischief Charges Filed in Separate Incidents

A 37-year-old Valley Township woman filed a report with State Police on July 3 that someone punctured the four tires of her 2011 Jeep Wrangler. The incident happened while the vehicle was parked along Anderson Creek Road. No other information was available.

A Wayne Township barn/garage was the target of a break-in on July 3 between midnight and 8AM. The owner reported to State Police that although the structure was secured by padlocks, someone gained entrance. Nothing appeared to be removed during the incident. The investigation is continuing.

A West Franklin Township woman was unhappy to find yard decorations stolen just one day before the Independence Day holiday. Marjorie Johns, 40, related to State Police that her black silhouette of a military soldier with flags and Uncle Sam hat was stolen from her property. Anyone that has any information concerning this crime is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police in Kittanning at 724-543-2011.
