Road Closure Planned for Route 4002 in Perry Township
A road closure is planned for Route 4002 (Queenstown Road) in Perry Township, Armstrong County, to replace the existing bridge that carries Route 4002 over a tributary to the Allegheny River.
Beginning Monday, June 8, at 8 am, Route 4002 will be closed between the intersections of Route 4001 (Bruin/Queenstown Road) and T-840 (Millers Eddy Road).
The closure will be in place to facilitate the replacement of the bridge with a box culvert and expand the width of the bridge.
A detour will be in place using Route 68 to Kepples Corners, to Route 268, to Petrolia, to Route 1006 (Main Street, in Butler County). Route 1006 turns into Route 4002.
PennDOT District 10’s Armstrong County Maintenance crews will be performing the work. The work is expected to be completed by the end of August.
