OBIT: Julie (Otell) Johnson (Ford City)

Julie Otell Johnson, 44, of Ford City, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 17, 1970, in Kittanning to J. Daniel Otell and Kathryn Krizmanich Delaney.

Julie was a lifelong member of the community, and formerly worked at Alltel and UPMC St. Margaret.

Of the Catholic faith, she loved reading, writing poetry, listening to music and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Julie is survived by her husband, James D. - who she married May 22, 1993, for 32 years of marriage; father, J. Daniel Otell; mother, Kathryn Delaney; and stepfather, Dennis Delaney; daughter, Sonja Lee Johnson; two grandchildren: Alexis R. Dykes and Lukas D. Dykes; two brothers: Parrish Otell and Devon Delaney; two sisters: Tara Otell and Amanda Delaney; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received from 4-8:30PM tomorrow - Wednesday, May 20, 2015 - at the Mantini Funeral Home in Ford City.

Additional visitation will be offered from 9:30 until the time of services at 10:30AM Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Thursday at Christ Prince of Peace Parish,

Father Bryan Summers will be officiating.
