OBIT: Eleanor Jane (Tarr) Freeman (Adrian)
Eleanor Jane (Tarr) Freeman, 81, of Adrian, died Monday, May 11, 2015, at home.
She was born March 3, 1934 in Kittanning, to Samuel S. and Glenna V. (Davis) Tarr. She was a resident of Adrian for the last 60 years.
Eleanor was self employed.
Eleanor was a member of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed gardening, canning, watching her soap operas and the Pittsburgh Steelers, listening to country music and spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
Eleanor always loved living on the farm and raising pigs.
She had many friends among the staff and other patients at the Dialysis Center whom she appreciated spending time with during her weekly visits.
She is survived by her three daughters: Debra (Roy) Rodgers of Cowansville, Diana “Hop” (Ed) Toy, of Adrian and Doris (Axle) Gearhart, of Brackenridge; three sons: David “Joe” (Karla) Freeman of Adrian, Duane “Doc” Freeman, of Adrian and Denis “Pize” (Terri) Freeman, of Kittanning; seven grandchildren: Nick, Lacey, Dustin, Dillon, Brock, Dugan and Lea; 10 great-grandchildren: Hunter, Gavin, Hayden, Denver, Austin, Corbin, Jennifer, Bobby, Jess and Duncan; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Arthur Wolff, of Ford Cliff; and sister-in-law, Margy Freeman, of Adrian.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Emery “Bud” Freeman on October 5, 2012.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9PM Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville.
Additional visitation will be offered from 10AM until the time of funeral services at 11AM Friday, May 15, 2015 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert French, officiating.
Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
