OBIT: Robert G. Harkleroad (Plumcreek Township)
Robert G. Harkleroad, 75, of Ford City (Plumcreek Township) passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on July 28, 1939 to Barsley and Lucy (Craft) Harkleroad in Livermore, PA.
Robert worked as a Welder.
He was a member of the Sagamore VFW.
Robert is survived by his wife, Sarah (Painter) Harkleroad; three sons:Edward (Kathy) Harkleroad, William (Jana) Harkleroad and Robert B. (Lynda) Harkleroad; daughter, Sarah (Vince) Craig; two brothers: Howard (Linda) Harkleroad and Barsley (PJ) Harkleroad; two sisters: Hazel (Paul) Bowen and Ethel Harkleroad; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Frank, John and Chuck Harkleroad; and a sister,Mary Kempka.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM tomorrow - Wednesday, April 15, 2015 - at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home in Rural Valley.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the funeral home, with Rev. Vaughn Taylor, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Harkleroad Cemetery.
