OBIT: Loretta B. (Anthony) Kissinger (Kittanning)

Loretta B. (Anthony) Kissinger, 79 of Kittanning, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

She was born on June 11, 1935 in Kittanning to Walter and Anna Mae (Zellefrow) Anthony.

Loretta was a homemaker, a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kittanning and a life member of the Rayburn Township Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to casinos.

Loretta is survived by her five daughters: Deborah (John) Reesman of Kittanning, Susan Walters of Texas, Crystal (Bill) Olinger of Kittanning, Paulette Cong of Kittanning and Jamie (Frank) Davis of Ford City; brother, Walter (Elsie) Anthony of Seneca, Pa.; 10 grandchildren: John, Caurie, Bobbi Jo, Dustin, Jarrod, Brandon, Justin, Nathan, Austin and Caitlyn; and nine great-grandchildren.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James E. “Kissy” Kissinger, who passed away March 21, 2002; two sisters: Aretta Sinclair and Betty Reesman; two son-in-laws: Bobby Walters and Lenny Long; and infant daughter, Christina.

Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9PM tomorrow – Friday, March 27, 2015 – at the Kennedy and Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning.

Additional visitation will be held from 10AM Saturday, March 28, 2015 until the time of funeral services at 11AM at the funeral home.

The Rev. Carl Johnson – her church pastor – will officiate.

Interment will be in Pine Creek Baptist Cemetery.
