ATV Drivers Resist Arrest During Weekend
Two Ford City men were charged after driving their All-Terrain Vehicle away from Pennsylvania State Police troopers early Sunday morning.
At approximately 1:50AM, State Police were in pursuit of the side-by-side ATV beginning at Scenic Drive in Manor Township near the Sheetz gas station on Route 422. The pursuit lasted until the ATV became stuck in the deep snow behind Faith Cathedral on Rau Drive.
James Woodside, of Garretts Run Road, was identified in a news release as the driver and was charged with driving under the influence, fleeing and eluding police, resisting arrest and other various traffic violations.
His passenger, Jeno Zanetti, of Manor Drive, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
All charges will be filed via summons before District Magisterial Judge Gary DeComo.
