OBIT: Gloria E. Miska (Ford City)
Gloria E. Miska, 80 of Ford City, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 in ACMH.
She was born September 1, 1934 in Cadogan to Elmer and Bertha (Schrecengost) Fair.
Gloria was a lifelong community resident, and was a retired co-owner of Ford Jewelers in Ford City, with husband Justin Miska.
Gloria was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish and the Red Hats, and enjoyed reading, cooking, bowling and gambling with her friends, as well as spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two sons: Stephen (and Jenny) Miska of State College and Keith (and Barbara) Miska of State College; daughter, Tami Stuebgen of Ford City; nine grandchildren: Stephen, Kaylin, Elizabeth, Diego, Amanda, Jayme, Joshua, Laura and Justin; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Carol (and R. Edward) Bish of Jamestown.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM tomorrow - Wednesday, January 28, 2015 - at the Mantini Funeral Home in Ford City.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the funeral home, with Father Bryan Summers officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Chrones Disease research.
