OBIT: Glenda June (Johns) Pennington (Fenelton)

Glenda June (Johns) Pennington, 71 of Fennelton, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015.

She was born Oct. 12, 1942, in Adrian, daughter of Fred and Elma Irene (Grey) Johns.

Glenda was a lifelong resident of the area and was a homemaker.

She was a loving mother who adored her grandchildren and her dog, Cassie.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Russell Pennington, of Fenelton; two daughters: Darla (Bryce) Anthony, of Butler, and Dana (James) Flick, of Butler; son, Todd Pennington, of Fenelton; five grandchildren: Jordan and Matthew Anthony, Sarah and Emily Flick, and Carissa Pennington; two sisters: Doris (Howard) Harshman, of Kittanning, and Gaye (Lewis) Hindman, of East Brady; brother, Terry Johns, of Kittanning; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant twin siblings: Ollie and Oliver Johns; sister, Martha Boyer; and two brothers: Benton and Eugene Johns.

Family and friends will be received from 6PM until the time of a memorial service at 8PM tomorrow - Thursday, January 22, 2015 - at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington, with the Rev. James Lewis, officiating.
