Armstrong County resident and member of the Triple-S 4-H club, Berea Longwell, took the Best of Show award for youth quilts at the Pennsylvania Farm Show which closed this past weekend. Berea is currently a first-year student at Penn State University and in her last year as a 4-Her. She has shown sewing projects as well as lambs and other things at the Dayton Fair each of the last several summers. She and her sister Anna both won blue ribbons for quilts this year at the Harrisburg show, but this was the year the older sister took the top prize. (submitted)
