OBIT: Phyllis S. Heffelfinger (formerly of Ford City)

Phyllis S. Heffelfinger, 82 and formerly of Ford City, died Sunday, January 11, 2015, at UPMC Altoona.

She was born July 11, 1932 in Kittanning to Thomas and Ruth (Cupp) Sellers.

A lifelong community residents, she was formerly employed as a secretary at Eljer Pottery.

Phyllis was a member of Ford Memorial United Methodist Church in Ford City, and enjoyed camping, crafts, reading, watching TV (especially the Pittsburgh Steelers) and loved spending time with her family.

Phyllis married James L. Heffelfinger September 12, 1952.

She is survived by her husband; son, James (and Diane) Heffelfinger, of Altoona; and two grandchildren: Laura Heffelfinger and James Heffelfinger.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her two brothers: Thomas and Paul Sellers; and two sisters: Charlotte Keller and Elsie Miller.

Friends will be received from 1PM until the funeral service at 4PM Thursday - January 15, 2015 - at the Mantini Funeral Home in Ford City.

The Pastor Alison Berkey will officiate.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Cemetery.
