OBIT: Donald Pepple, Sr. (Rural Valley)

Donald Pepple, Sr., 62, of Rural Valley, (Plumcreek Twp) passed away on January 8, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on July 15, 1952 in Cleveland, OH. Donald worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator. On January 1, 2006 he married Evelyn Ling.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Congregational Church and the American Legion. Donald served in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

Donald is survived by wife: Evelyn; four sons: Donald Pepple, Jr., Daniel (Lynn) Pepple, Drew Pepple and Brock (Samantha) Pepple; step-daughter: Jennifer (David) Quigley; step-son: Daniel (Jennifer) Staples; two brothers: Brad Pepple and Denny Pepple; three sisters: Jeannie Nicholson, Kathy Valuchuck and Debbie Schleicher; 11 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father: Wilbur Pepple; and two brothers.

Visitation and a funeral service was held Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home in Rural Valley. Pastor Tim Lewis officiated. Burial took place in the St. Paul Church Cemetery.
