OBIT: Richard A. Wagner (East Brady)
Richard A. Wagner, 68, of East Brady, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Clarion Hospital.
He was born in Parsons, WV on February 9, 1946, to Francis “Fritz” and Rose (Hanna) Wagner.
Richard was a graduate of Brentwood High School and honorably served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He then worked most of his career as a coal miner at the Tunnellton Mine in Saltsburg until he became blind several years ago. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and friends.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Richard G. “Rick” Wagner and companion, Tina Crispen, of Kittanning; daughter, Tracie Massey of North Carolina; two grandsons, Zack and Jon-Jon; sister, Karen Conard and husband, Orla, of Mount Vernon, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Relatives and friends may visit from 12 – 5 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA, where funeral services will follow at 5 PM with the Rev. John W. Snyder officiating.
