OBIT: Kenneth L. Mohney (Kittanning)

Kenneth L. Mohney, 82 of Kittanning, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Kittanning Care Center.

He was born November 7, 1932 to Louis and Norma Lena (Milloranzi) Mohney.

Kenneth worked as a Hacker at Drexel Refractories.

Also a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War, Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching wrestling.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Alene Mary (Barnhart) Mohney - married in November 1956; four children: Carol Hagofsky (and husband, Randy) of Rimersburg, Amy Potts of Kittanning, Jennifer Kane of Natrona Heights and Ben Mohney of Rossiter, Pa.; four grandsons: Joshua Lewis of Sun City, Ariz., Randy Edward of Hershey, Jonathan Paul of Lewisburg and Christian Michael of Natrona Heights; two granddaughters: Shannon Lee of Kittanning and Ashley Renee of Pittsburgh; and three great-grandchildren: Liam Kenneth, Riley Ray and Adelyn Louise.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; son, Louis Mohney; and brother, Buster Keith Mohney.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM tomorrow - Wednesday, December 3, 2014 - at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.

Private graveside services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
