OBIT: Mary Angelina Brochetti Bernardo

Mary Angelina Brochetti Bernardo passed away November 27th, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born in Wishaw, PA to Lida and Angelo Brochetti on February 15, 1926. Mary moved to NJ in 1961 with her husband where she raised her three children and lived a full life in Florence and Roebling.

Mary is survived by her three children, son in law and daughter in law, Bruce and Patricia Small, William and Debra Bernardo, and Rosemary (Rosebud) Bernardo; siblings, John and Elizabeth Brochetti, Louis and Laura Brochetti, William and Jean Brochetti, Frank and Roseanne Brochetti, and Fred and Sandy Brochetti; ten grandchildren; fifteen great children; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her loving husband William, her parents, her sister Josephine, brother in law Joseph Dorazio and sister in law Catherine and her husband Lou Cardis and son in law James Sherman. Mary was a wonderful homemaker, mother and friend. Mary worked at the Masonic Home in Burlington, NJ as well as working as a nanny for many years. Mary always loved children and took pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at Huber-Moore funeral home, 517 Farnsworth Ave. Bordentown, NJ, from 6-8PM on Monday December 1st. A second viewing will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home in Rural Valley from 6-8 PM on Tuesday December 2nd, and 10-10:30AM on Wednesday December 3rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Yatesboro at 11AM on Wednesday December 3rd with the Reverend Alan Grote officiating. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Yatesboro.
