Local Sears Store to Give Away Giant Screen TV

Sears Manager Bobby Fruehstorfer, and Sales Associates Bradley Yount and Wade Calhoun hold 46” giant screen TV that will be the grand prize during Black Friday promotions at Sears at Franklin Village.
Sears Hometown Store in the Franklin Village Shopping Center is kicking off Black Friday early this year - two days early to be exact!
Local Sears owner Dan Shaffer announced the promotion.
“Instead of being Friday, we’re actually starting Wednesday (November 26th) at 5PM. During that time you can get the Black Friday promotions, plus anything over $299, you will get 36 months of no interest!”
During the promotion, Shaffer said there would be 50% off many appliances in the store. In addition, he specifically featured the washer/dryer special.
“If you buy a regular Kenmore pair, you get an additional $50 off. If you buy a pair that are Kenmore Elite, you get an additional $100 off!”
Shaffer said that starting Black Friday sales on Wednesday night will continue on Thanksgiving Day with many other specials throughout the store.
“Thanksgiving Day we are open 6PM-11PM. Then on Black Friday, we open at 7AM till 7PM. Saturday, we are open 9AM until 7PM. Then Sunday we are open earlier than normal - we will be open 11AM until 6PM.”
During the five-day sales event, customers can register to win a number of prizes including a 46″ RCA giant screen TV (valued at $450), and numerous certificates from Big Lots, McDonalds, Sirena Pizza, Gardners, and Big Andy BBQ. (No purchase necessary; drawing takes place on December 1 at 1PM; winner need not be present to win.)

Doing something nice again at this store !! How great!
And, before jorn lifts his leg to ‘wet’ on this article and lament about the Mills Mall Sears closing. I found out they are paying $250,000.00 a MONTH for rent there!
Yes that’s 250 Thousand a month !
Add wages, utilities, insurances and a host of other expenses on to that and one can easily see how tough it would be to be profitable in that environment. Perhaps, if blame is to be placed for the Mills mall Sears store closing, some of it could be placed on the mall owners.?

Also, again, I wish Dan and his staff well, and continued success at our local Sears. I always enjoy doing business there.
