Local Author Features Fourth Book Tonight

Local author Jeff Boarts will release his fourth mystery at the Kittanning News on Market Street during the Light-Up Kittanning Night festivities from 6:00-9:00 PM.
The new book is titled Moonshine and Murder and the plot is set in 1919 Kittanning. Boarts will also have his three previous murder mysteries available for signing and will be happy to answer questions and discuss is books.
Boarts began his writing career late in life. Despite a desire to write novels since high school, it wasn’t until nearly forty years later, in the spring of 2012, when he published A Flash of Murder - a mystery set in his hometown of Kittanning. That same fall, Merry Merry Murder, his second novel, was published. Steel City Murder, his third mystery, was published in November 2013, and is set in 1919 Pittsburgh. Moonshine and Murder brings his heroes, George and Ruth, back to Kittanning for another adventure.
