OBIT: Rose A. Kammerdiener (South Buffalo Township)

Rose A. Kammerdiener, 84, formerly of South Buffalo Township, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014, in the Armstrong County Health Center.

Born July 20, 1930, in South Buffalo Township, she was a daughter of the late Umberto and Lena (Cumerlotti) Offredi.

Rose was member of the White Star Club, Freeport, and had worked at Moonlight Mushrooms for a number of years.

She enjoyed canning, gardening, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren, and loved watching to the Gaithers videos.

She is survived by her children, Theresa M. (Joe) Crytzer of Ford City, Diana L. (Don) Johnston of Freeport, Patricia I. (Tom) Arble of Worthington, Carol J. (Dave) Smith of Shelocta, and Beverly E. (Buddy) Walter of Mercer; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Kammerdiener of Kittanning; her grandchildren, Shawn Kammerdiener, Lori Crytzer, Rene Johnston, Michelle Lenhart, Thomas Arble, Jr., Lisa Mizerak, James Golembesky, Clint Golembesky, Shelby Seivers, Lena Holmes, Sara Husband, and Luke Walter; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Angie (Bill) Dilick of Kittanning.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley M. Kammerdiener; a son, Merle S. Kammerdiener; and one brother, Albert Offredi.

Friends will be welcomed from 12 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, in the Welch Funeral Home in Ford City, where a blessing service will immediately follow at 3 p.m., with Father Edward Volz, O.S.P., officiating.
