OBIT: Melinda K. Kaufman (East Brady)
Melinda Kathleen (Delp) Kaufman, 68, of East Brady, died on November 1, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
She was born on April 12, 1046, a daughter of Clyde H. Delp and Mildred (Croyle) Delp-Beckett. She was a lifelong resident for 30 years and a retired tax preparer.
She was a member of the Union First Presbyterian Church in Cowansville, Young Ladies Card Club, Young at Hearts Club of Brady’s Bend, Golden Links of the Union First Presbyterian Church, and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 488. She loved to travel the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, and also Europe. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with all her family.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters: Michelle (Davis) Wilson and husband Mike of Chambersburg, PA, and Kim (Davis) Beham and husband Frank of East Brady; son: Daniel Davis and wife McKenzie of Marble Hill, MO; two step-sons: Michael Kaufman and wife Glenda of East Brady, and Rick Kaufman and wife Diane of Chicora; a step-daughter: Debbie (Kaufman) Hertwick and husband Randy of Kaylor; a sister: Melissa (Delp) Grantz of Daytona Beach, FL; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Walter Kaufman; and her parents.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday, November 3, 2014 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville, and from 10AM until the time of a funeral service at 11AM on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Union First Presbyterian Church in Cowansville, with the Reverend Mary Marks King officiating.
