Riverhawks Continue Winning Streak

With a win last Thursday against Erie Cathedral Prep, the Armstrong Riverhawks hockey team will go into tonight’s game in second place.
The Riverhawks scored five goals in the third period on their way to a 7-3 victory over their Class AA Section III rivals.
Captain Hunter Grafton secured a hat trick of goals and also had three assists in the victory.
Alternate Captain Christian Miller was credited with the game winning goal two-and-a-half minutes into the third period. He was assisted by Grafton and Cody Toy.
Tonight’s matchup with Greater Latrobe at Kirk S. Nevin Arena in Greensburg is the last game for two weeks. Greater Latrobe is also in second place within Class AA, but is in Section IV.
