Worthington Driver Charged with Hitting Mailbox While Drunk

A Worthington man hit a West Franklin Township mailbox and tree while under the influence of alcohol Tuesday.

Jeffrey Rossiter, 38, drove off Lairds Crossing Road in his 2000 blue Chevrolet Malibu, striking a mailbox and tree March 15 at approximately 5:40AM. State police troopers found Rossiter under the influence.

Multiple traffic violations and DUI charges will be filed before District Magisterial Judge Samuel Goldstrohm.
