Seniors Dominate Powderpuff Football

The Senior Classes of both Kittanning High School and Ford City High School were victorious in defeating their Junior opponents during last night’s Powderpuff Football Games:
In Kittanning, the Seniors were trailing the Juniors 14-8 at the half. However, after an uplifting performance from the Senior Cheerleading Squad, the Seniors held the Juniors scoreless in the second half resulting in a final score of Seniors – 20 Juniors – 14.
In Ford City, with 1:31 left in the game, the Juniors scored a touchdown to bring the game to Seniors – 28 Juniors – 26. The Senior defense stood strong and did not allow the Juniors to score their two-point conversion for the tie. After their goal line stand, the Seniors came on the field with a rush of momentum and quickly scored again bringing the final score to Seniors – 34 Juniors – 26.
