Bible School Goes on High Seas Expedition

Submitted by Darla Bernot

The Community Vacation Bible School this summer in the Ford City Park was a “splashing” success. The theme was “High Seas Expedition”. The kids had a “blast” with all the activities. They decorated their own T-shirts, made sand art jars, little boats that float, and other neat things. Music included some Contemporary Christian songs, such as “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever”, “Let the Praises Ring”, “Shout to the North”, and “Ancient Words”. Of course, everyone’s favorite was snacks. We ended the week with a picnic for the kids and their families. This event was sponsored by the Ford City Ministerium with 11 churches participating.
