Ford City Man Arrested for Heroin

A Ford City man was arrested on Route 128 in South Buffalo Township on Wednesday, May 19 shortly after 9PM following a tip from the Armstrong County Drug Task Force.

Brandon Weber, 22, was stopped by the Pennsylvania State Police in his 2001 Crown Victoria vehicle based on information that he was transporting controlled substances. After the vehicle was stopped, police discovered 136 stamp bags of Heroin during a search.

Weber was arraigned by District Magisterial Judge James Owen for drug possession. He was placed in the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
